Vertices Engine – 3D Gizmo Implementation

Recently we heavily improved on our 3D Gizmo in the Vertices Engine. Initially it only allowed for 3D Translations, but with Metric Racer become more advanced in development, it became apparent we had to add some features to the Gizmo.

Features included are:

  • Translations
  • Rotations
  • Panning Support
  • Rotations relative to Local Orientation or World Orientations

In a later post we plan to outline how you can make your own Gizmo. You can see it in action here with the track editor for metric racer here:
